Her name is Jess (this is her space dream version). The webcomic is all about Jess's experience of accepting reality. She is a shut in kind of person, and has trouble distinguishing her vibrant thoughts, stories, ideas, and fabrications with reality. When she dreams, it feels like she gets an entire day in her sci-fi dream heaven, where she is the pilot of a ship. Like all dreams, she has to wake up, and realize that her dreams are not her life. She has to go to school, work, eat, and exist day by day knowing her dreams are not real, but she wishes they were.
