Summer in the Adriatic
My submission for Joao's 6th palette contest. Since the palette is themed after Princess Mononoke, I wanted to draw a scene from the movie, but wasn't really inspired. I still wanted to stick with the theme of Hayao Miyazaki movies though, so I ended up drawing something inspired by Porco Rosso since I recently watched it. Not my most detailed drawing, and there are definitely spots where I could improve, but all of Joao's contests last like a week which gives me very little time to draw lol. Used the Mononoke-16 palette by JoaoVasconcelos https://www.pixilart.com/palettes/mononoke-16-16086 (16 colors) and spent about 12-14 hours on this over the course of 3 days. Enjoy :)
