Animal Control
When I was 12, a guy from my school named Benjamín Clause would follow me home. He stayed within 10 feet from me while continuously shouting names. When he would get closer to me, he would pull my hair or kick the back of my feet. I ignored him every day as my parents wished. As the days went by, his routine stayed the same. One night, I had a dream that while Benjamín was following me home, I called out to the birds. I told them to come and please make Benjamín stop. In less than a second, vultures came from all corners and headed straight to Benjamín. I continued to walk home whilst Benjamín screamed and begged for mercy in the background. When I awoke from the dream the next day, Benjamín did not show up for school, nor did he come any other day. I’ve heard rumours and gossip that Benjamín was attacked in his home by violent birds. However, I never looked into his death because I never cared.
Now, I'm 16, and the animals are waiting for a new command.
