The Floating Fortress
This landmark is known as Noble ----. It lies on the western edge of the Norse Peak Wilderness and I had the pleasure of visiting it while hiking this summer. If you've been following my work, you'll notice I posted another Norse Peak Wilderness drawing this past spring mentioning a fire. That fire ended up burning through almost the entire wilderness (in patches of course), but luckily this pristine vantage point was left untouched. Mount Rainier is larger than life out of frame to the left of me here.
My unofficial title for this piece is So much f@%%$#$ grass! This was one of those situations where the best looking parts were the quickest to draw. I can assure you the grass was not.
PS- Sorry about the lack of frames. Evidently, reopening a drawing after having it closed removed previous frames from the player.
