Zenith Hornburrow

Living exclusively in mors terris, zenith-isle, is a species of large omnivorous reptiles known most commonly as the zenith-hornburrow. Zenith-hornburrows are quadrupedal animals, measuring an average of 50 feet in length, while weighing a rough estimate of 17,000 - 23,000 lbs. Despite their hulking physique, zenith-hornburrows are more than capable of charging at 30 miles an hour in short bursts. Zenith-hornburrows were named after their powerful maxillary horn, which curls upward at the tip of their long and narrow jaws. With this maxillary horn, a zenith-hornburrow can effectively throw other animals off balance — from aggressive predators to measly prey. This horn can also be used to shovel up dirt when burrowing. Covering the head is a protective sheath made entirely from a dark osteoderm shell. Running down the neck to the shoulders and back of the body is additional osteoderm shelling, which serves to protect the animal in physical confrontations. Zenith-hornburrows are almost entirely covered in thick scales, ranging from a ragged teal dorsal layer to a smoother, baby-blue underbelly. Dotted along the plump underside of their elongated necks are pink scales that — when inflated — can be used to attract potential mates. In addition to using these pink scales, male zenith-hornburrows develop flashy orange and pink plumages of feathers centered around the base of the neck; which are then advertised to females when seeking a mate. || You can read the full description here, if you‘d like: https://imgur.com/a/t7TjdhQ
