Through a combination of advanced AI moderation, automated filters, human review, and clear community standards, we ensure that all publicly visible content and advertising placements meet strict safety expectations.
Our Brand Safety Commitment
Pixilart is dedicated to maintaining a platform that is:
- Safe for all ages - with content curated to be appropriate for a broad audience, including children and students.
- Brand-safe for advertisers - ensuring ads run only alongside verified safe content.
- Supportive of positive creativity - free from harmful, explicit, or hateful material.
- Aligned with schools, parents, and educators - suitable for classroom use and young creators.
We prioritize safety over monetization. If content does not meet our standards, it is restricted, removed, or demonetized.
How We Moderate Content
Pixilart uses a three-layer moderation system to uphold platform safety:

AI-Powered Screening (OpenAI Moderation, AWS Rekognition and Google Vision APIs)
All content, including text and artwork, is scanned using the APIs to detect:
- Hateful content
- Harassment or threats
- Violence or graphic themes
- Sexual or suggestive content

We apply additional automated filters for:
- Profanity and bypass attempts
- Restricted keywords
- Image pattern/risk scanning
- Comment and caption screening
- Ad-exclusion logic for questionable pages

Human Review Team
When AI detects a risk or content is reported by the community, a moderator reviews it manually and takes appropriate action, including removal or user enforcement.
Content Classification & Ad Eligibility
To protect your brand, Pixilart separates content into categories:

If content cannot be confidently classified as safe, ads are disabled by default.
Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance)
Pixilart does not allow content that contains or promotes:
- Sexual, suggestive, or adult themes
- Nudity or partial nudity
- Profanity (including attempts to bypass filters)
- Violence or graphic imagery
- Hate speech, harassment, or bullying
- Drugs, alcohol, or criminal activity
- Self-harm or dangerous behavior
- Shock, gore, or disturbing themes
Violations may result in removal, account restriction, or permanent ban.
Ad Placement Safety Rules
To ensure brand suitability:
- Ads are only displayed on verified safe content
- Ads are removed from any content flagged by moderation
- Ads are not shown near unmoderated comments
- Ads are disabled if safety cannot be confirmed
- Brand safety is enforced globally and consistently
